5 Ways That Glutathione Can Improve Your Health

What does it really do for our body that gets it so much attention nowadays? Well, here are five ways that glutathione can help our bodies with.

The first thing is that glutathione is necessary for everyone's energy level. Free radicals can overwhelm our bodies, which is where this antioxidant comes into play.

Think about it. Each day, we all have to deal with certain levels of stress, endless toxins, pollutants and even a lack of sleep that all hinder our body's optimized functioning. Glutathione has been proven to give back what your body has been lacking which gives you back the energy you once had.

And if you don't have your health, what do you have? If you have ever had just a bad upper respiratory infection or the flu and found yourself too tired to do anything, you know that you likely did not get much done during the time that you were sick. Your immune system depends on glutathione to function on a day to day basis and when these levels are not at the optimum level, you are at a greater risk for getting sick. And your body's immune system which consists of T-cells and white blood cells, all require this nutrient to be able to function at their best optimal level.

Thirdly, glutathione helps neutralize and actually get rid of the toxins that we all come in contact wtih by attacking these toxins, which in turn helps protect our bodies by balancing out our nervous system, immune system and endocrine system.

The fourth way that glutathione can help improve your life is that it helps your body utilize oxygen. If you are an athlete, this is very important. If you are an athlete and need a quick recovery time, glutathione has been shown to allow just that, a quicker recovery time after strenuous exercise.

Finally, glutathione can help with inflammation. Most every major health issue is simply a result of inflammation and can lead to such things as joint issues and heart disease. Glutathione is is very important because every cell needs this nutrient. The more glutathione you have in your body, the better chance you have at remaining healthy enough to fight whatever toxins you come in contact with.

Eat and Live Right

Recently, Max International unveiled the MaxWLX. It's the best weight loss accelerator in the market to date and nothing has come close to what it can do. We all know what it can do for our bodies. We can look and feel trim and healthy. But MaxWLX also needs your cooperation. To help maintain what you have set yourself to achieve, you have to eat and live right too. So what are the things that we need to do and avoid for us to really start enjoying the benefits of MaxWLX?

Get enough sleep. It is a fact that not getting enough sleep restricts the amount of serotonin and dopamine, “feel-good” chemicals craved by the brain. So the brain messages the body to find more of these chemicals making you crave sugary foods. That’s why when you’re tired, you crave sweets.

Don't forget to drink water. Our body's cells need to rehydrate and when they're well hydrated, they help accelerate the liver's ability to convert stored fat into usable energy and help your kidneys flush out toxins. There was a study conducted for a year that showed that women who traded in their soda for water actually lost three extra pounds with some losing as much as twenty pounds. Amazing, isn't it?

There are also some types of food that we should “black list” from our diets. Processed foods that contain trans and saturated fats should be avoided. Some examples would be white foods like creamed sauces, white bread, white rice and simple sugar; and products containing high-fructose corn syrup. Not all foods are metabolized the same once they are consumed. The Glycemic Index shows foods that spike blood sugar then cause it to fall rapidly. You get a rush of energy and then a crash as blood sugar levels plummet. And that process makes you very hungry!

Try adding these to your regular diet instead:

Fruits
Vegetables
Whole grains
Legumes

You need carbohydrates, proteins and get this... fats in your diet. Surprised? Yes, you do need fats! There are some fats that are actually good for us. “Good” fats include monounsaturated fats found in olive oil and avocados. Polyunsaturated fats like the omega-3 fatty acids found in fish, and vegetable oils like safflower and sunflower, are good for you. Avoid trans fat by carefully reading the labels. If it says “partially hydrogenated” or interesterified do not use.

Carbohydrates that are “complex” like multi-grain breads or brown rice are healthy alternatives to highly processed white bread or white rice. For the proteins, lean meat, chicken and fish will suffice.

Always watch what you're eating. Don't forget to factor in exercise as well. And as a final advice, don't ever skip breakfast! Eat three meals a day with frequent low-calorie snacks to keep your metabolism humming! Eating right will work with MaxWLX get you back on track.

Debunking the Myths

A small protein produced naturally in our cells when certain required elements are present. It functions both as an antioxidant and an antitoxin and is a major defense system against illness and aging. Our glutathione level actually indicates our state of health and can predict longevity. Although there are more than 60,000 published papers on the beneficial effects of glutathione replacement, it is still largely ignored by mainstream medicine. In the near future the importance of glutathione will be widely recognized because it has the ability to boost the immune system and fight off the damage free radicals wreak on cells and the immune system.

Glutathione has been shown to slow down the aging process, detoxify and improve liver function, strengthen the immune system, and reduce the chances of developing cancer. Glutathione also works to help improve mental functions, increase energy, improve concentration, permit increased exercise, and improve heart and lung function - just to name a few.

Glutathione is produced within the body, which means glutathione supplementation simply will not increase the body's levels of this powerful antioxidant. Purchasing glutathione supplements is worthless due to the digestive process which breaks down the glutathione BEFORE it can be absorbed into the body's system.

There is NO effect on blood levels of this vital super antioxidant when taking glutathione supplements. However, if your body can be stimulated to naturally increase the level of glutathione production, a natural increase in energy levels and well being will be the immediate result. Also the body will naturally detoxify itself whilst strengthening the immune system.

Supplements Containing Glutathione Alone Will NOT Increase The Body’s GSH Levels. It is pointless to purchase supplements that merely contain glutathione, because the digestive system breaks down ingested glutathione and it will not be absorbed into your system. On the other hand, MaxGXL™ provides the proper nutrients needed to promote the body's own ability to manufacture and absorb glutathione. MaxGXL™ also aids in liver support by destroying environmental poisons helping the liver to function as the main production site and storehouse for glutathione.

What is Glutathione?

We've been talking a lot about glutathione but if someone asked most of us what it really was, we probably wouldn't really be able to answer the question. Well, this article is going to attempt to make you understand what it really is and what it can do for you.

Glutathione peroxidase (GSH) is your body’s most abundant natural antioxidant. GSH protects your vision, boosts your immune system, helps turn carbohydrates into energy, and prevents the buildup of oxidized fats that may contribute to atherosclerosis.

Glutathione is a compound classified as a tripeptide made of three amino acids: cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine. Glutathione is also found in every part of the body, especially the lungs, intestinal tract, and liver. The body produces and stores the largest amounts of GSH in the liver, where it is used to detoxify harmful compounds so that they can be removed from the body through the bile. The liver also supplies GSH directly to red and white blood cells in the bloodstream; it helps keep red blood and white blood cells healthy to maximize the disease-fighting power of the immune system. Glutathione also appears to have an anti-aging affect on the body. GSH levels decline with age, and a lack of glutathione has been shown to leave the body more vulnerable to damage by free radicals, thus speeding up oxidation (wearing down) of the body.

A glutathione deficiency can have a devastating effect on the nervous system, causing such symptoms as lack of balance and coordination, mental disorders, and tremors. Any illness (even a bad cold), chronic disorders such as asthma and rheumatoid arthritis, injury, or heavy exposure to pollutants can cause a GSH deficiency. This is because your body uses more GSH when it is supporting white blood cells and ridding the body of toxins.

Glutathione is found in almost all fruits and vegetables. Acorn squash, asparagus, avocado, cantaloupe, grapefruit, okra, orange, peach, potato, spinach, strawberries, tomato, watermelon, and zucchini are all good sources of GSH. Some vegetables, such as broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, kale, and parsley, not only provide GSH, but also actually stimulate the body produce more of this powerful antioxidant. Cooking destroys a lot of the glutathione in fresh fruits and vegetables, so you can get the most GSH from these foods by eating them raw or steamed. Eating foods high in glutamine, such as lean meats, eggs, wheat germ, and whole grains, can also stimulate the liver to produce more GSH.

Probably the best way to get all the glutathione you need is in MaxGXL. The world's best glutathione supplement. Guaranteed no side effects because it's based on years of scientific study. Try one now and experience health.

Glutathione Can Prevent Parkinson's

A recent study revealed that mice with less glutathione, particularly in their dopamine-producing neurons, become crippled by nerve damage. In fact, what they developed seemed to be symptoms of Parkinson's.

This new discovery might call into question the current pharmaceutical approach to Parkinson's Disease; which doses patients with dopamine equivalents, or with drugs that boost dopamine's effect (as a former prescription drug, Methamphetamine, or “Crystal Meth” does). Unfortunately, these drugs have also been found to cause many of the effects that are also seen with Methamphetamine, such as gambling and other impulse-control problems. Now it seems that the underlying problem may not really be dopamine.

For most of us in the modern world, the likely reason for having insufficient glutathione in the active form is that we aren't getting enough melatonin at night. Better sleep hygiene and more darkness, as well as more regular bedtimes, are a great way to start. Another way is by taking MaxGXL, the world's best glutathione supplement.

MaxGXL Passes ConsumerLab.com's Athletic Banned Substance Screening Program

Recently, MaxGXL had another moral victory. It recently passed ConsumerLab.com's athletic banned substance screening program.

“The results of the screening demonstrate not only Max International’s commitment to quality and safety, but also our firm belief in seeking out independent bodies to research, test and validate our products,” said Max International President Craig Case. “MaxGXL’s™ is science and nature at its finest, and these results will only help to make the public aware of this wonderful product.”

This is truly a testimony of the hard work that Max International has put into the MaxGXL product.

About the Screening Program:

ConsumerLab.com offers the Athletic Banned Substances Screening Program to test dietary supplements, performance enhancement products, and other nutrition products for substances that could cause disqualification of athletes from Olympic and other competition. It is the first comprehensive program to focus on supplements, as opposed to the downstream testing of body fluids from athletes. The ConsumerLab.com screening program includes testing for banned substances, including stimulants, narcotics, anabolic agents, diuretics, masking agents, and beta-blockers based on the Olympic Movement Anti-Doping Code or the codes of other sports associations.

This Screening Program is offered as an adjunct to ConsumerLab.com's Product Review testing, in which products are evaluated on other important quality parameters such as labeling, ingredient identity and quantity, proper disintegration time, spoilage, contamination with heavy metals, pesticides, industrial by-products, and spiking with pharmaceutical ingredients.
